Renter must be at least 25 years of age with a valid driver’s license to rent a boat.

A boating license is not required to rent a boat.

At the start of the rental period, the boat will be provided to the renter with a full
tank of gas. The renter is responsible for the gas usage during the rental period. The renter will need to return the boat with a full tank of gas at the end of the rental period. If the boat is not returned with a full tank of gas, the renter will be
responsible for the cost of returning the fuel level to full. This cost will be deducted from the deposit

Full tank of gas at start rental date/time, adult life jackets, children life jackets, 2 anchors, emergency whistle, flares, Garmin GPS, 2 paddles, fenders, dock lines, throwable cushions, map of area/attractions, and a first aid kit.

No, this rental does not include a captain. The customer is responsible for driving the boat. Please ensure that you or someone in your party is qualified and capable of safely operating the vessel.

The renter will incur a charge of $75 for every 15-minute delay in returning the equipment. 

No, we do not allow water sports while operating the boats.

All cancellations must be 10 days before the rental period date in order to have the security deposit refunded. 

Cancellations and refunds due to poor weather shall be at the sole discretion of Cape Fear Boat Rentals. 

Security deposits will be returned within 1 week of the rental period as long as no damage has occurred to the equipment.

Yes, you are allowed to bring drinks, snacks, and alcoholic beverages. The operator of the boat will not operate the boat under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Please do not litter into the waterways.

Beer, ice, non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks are available for purchase at the Port City Marina office!

No, dogs are not allowed on equipment.
